- Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RS22T5201SR/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, including the Weak Cooling Test. Temperature history showed temperatures gradually rising over the previous week. Verified the compressor and fans were operating. Inspected the compressor area and found traces of oil around the condenser coupler. Performed a bubble test and confirmed a refrigerant leak at the connection. Removed and replaced the leaking coupler and installed a new filter drier and service port. During pressure testing, found a restriction on the high side caused by a small amount of glue blocking the capillary tube. Removed the affected section but did not have the additional coupler required to complete the repair. Returned with the required part and completed the sealed-system repair. Pressurized the system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and, after 15 minutes, recorded only a 0.5 PSI pressure drop, resulting in a passing pressure test. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and recharged it according to factory specifications. Restored power and verified the compressor and all fans started properly with cool air circulating. Set temperatures accordingly and advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be reached. Unit checks normal at this time.
- Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RF24BB620012AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34134 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Unit had stored error codes for the inverter and a locked-rotor compressor. The inverter board was replaced initially; however, the error codes returned and the refrigerator stopped cooling again. On the return visit, replaced the inverter board again and completed a sealed-system repair, including compressor replacement (see attached photos). Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and bubble tested all accessible joints with no leaks found. After 15 minutes, pressure dropped only 2 PSI, resulting in a passing pressure test. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and restored power. Verified the compressor and all fans started and operated properly. Set temperatures accordingly and ran a HASS service diagnostic report. All components are operating properly with no faults present. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be reached. Unit checks normal at this time.

Removed the water inlet valve and found sediment buildup in the hot water valve. Replaced the water inlet valve and tested operation. Suspect the restricted water flow may have contributed to the motor working harder and triggering the motor warning. Verified proper operation with no leaks. - LG Washer - Particles Left On Clothing
Model: WT7405CV Location: Cape Coral, FL 33914 Repair Summary Checked washer for particles being left on clothing. Customer stated she has used the Self Clean cycle in the past but has not run it recently. The home has a water softener, which can cause detergent and soap to lather more. Inspected the washer and found detergent residue buildup on the agitator. Explained that after years of use, additional buildup can accumulate between the inner and outer tubs and break loose onto clothing. Recommended running the Self Clean cycle several times to help remove and reduce the buildup. If the issue continues, the alternative would be replacing the tub assemblies, which would not be cost-effective.

Verified the centrifugal switch clicked and released properly. Started a cycle and confirmed the drum rotated, the dryer cycled heat properly, and airflow through the ventilation was good. Applied resistance to the drum by holding a baffle while it was spinning and verified the motor continued running without issue. Based on the customer’s description, the intermittent issue may be related to either the main control board/relay or the motor assembly. Unable to duplicate the reported failure at this time. Customer will continue to monitor and attempt to obtain a video if the issue returns. Unit checks normal at this time.
