Repair Summary
Checked dishwasher for a no-drain complaint. Upon arrival, started a cycle and verified the drain pump energized, but no water was being discharged from the unit. Noticed the garbage disposal had recently been replaced and asked the customer when it had been installed. Inspected the disposal connection and found the factory knockout plug had not been removed from the dishwasher inlet, preventing the dishwasher from draining. Removed the knockout plug, reconnected the drain hose, and tested the dishwasher through a complete fill, wash, and drain cycle. Verified the unit filled properly, washed correctly, and drained completely with no further issues. Unit checks normal.
