Repair Summary
Checked dryer for a noise complaint. Customer also mentioned the dryer had previously been taking too long to dry, but the builder already had the ventilation cleaned and the current concern was the noise. Disassembled the dryer and found shoelaces caught between the drum and front bearing assembly. Removed the shoelaces and inspected the affected components. No damage was found. Reassembled and tested the dryer and verified it is operating properly with no abnormal noises. Unit checks normal at this time.
