Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for ice falling inside the freezer and a water filter replacement warning. Educated the customer that the refrigerator may have been stored and operating for an extended period before they moved into the home, causing the filter reminder to count down even though the refrigerator is newly installed for them. Advised the customer that the filter can continue to be used for up to approximately six months, and once a new filter is installed, the filter reminder will reset automatically through the filter identification system. Inspected the ice bucket and found the lower bucket seal warped, allowing ice to fall into the freezer compartment. Determined that the ice bucket assembly will need to be replaced. The replacement bucket can be sent to the customer for installation.
