Jennair Fridge - Freezer Door Stuck

Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for the freezer door being stuck closed. Upon arrival, inspected around the freezer door gasket with a plastic tool and did not feel any ice buildup around the gasket; however, the door remained stuck shut. Inspected the ice maker area and found significant ice buildup inside the ice maker compartment. Advised the customer that the refrigerator would need to be turned off for approximately 2–4 days to allow the area to fully thaw and the freezer door to be opened for further inspection. Based on the findings and applicable service bulletin, ordered a new ice maker and water valve. Returned and installed the new ice maker and water valve. Tested both components and verified they are operating properly. Upon removing the original ice maker, found it had been overfilling with water, which was likely causing the excessive ice buildup and contributing to the freezer door being stuck. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24–48 hours for the refrigerator to cool down and for normal ice production to begin. Unit checks normal at this time.
