Repair Summary

Completed the applicable refrigerator service bulletin. First verified the model and serial number and confirmed the compressor style. Replaced the start device and relay, restored power, and verified the compressor started and is operating properly. During inspection, found the evaporator drain pan completely missing. Asked the customer about the missing pan, but she was unaware of what happened to it. Recommended that she contact the manufacturer’s 1-800 customer service number to inquire about having a replacement drain pan shipped to her. Showed the customer how the drain pan installs and explained that it should be positioned leaning slightly to the right. Verified all other components are functioning properly. Advised the customer to monitor the refrigerator. Unit checks normal at this time.
