Repair Summary
Checked washer for not draining. Upon arrival, verified the washer would fill but would not drain. Activated the drain pump and could hear the motor running; however, no water was being pumped out, indicating the drain pump impeller/blades have likely failed. Further inspection found the retaining ring for the door diaphragm rusted and no longer secured in place, and the diaphragm itself was in poor condition. Advised the customer of all findings and the repairs that would be required. Due to the overall condition and extent of the repairs, the customer elected to replace the washer rather than proceed with repairs. No repairs performed.
