Maytag Dryer - Burning Smell

Repair Summary

Checked dryer for a burning smell. Upon inspection, immediately found an F4E1 error code indicating the heater relay was not supplying proper voltage to the heating circuit. Inspected the terminal block and found no signs of burning or damage; however, the burning smell became noticeably stronger near the main control board. Removed the rear cover and found burned wiring along with damaged/burned relays on the main control board. Ordered a new wire harness and main control board. Returned and replaced both components. Cleaned the interior of the dryer, reassembled the unit, and tested operation. Verified the dryer is now operating and heating properly with no additional issues. Unit checks normal at this time.
