Repair Summary

Checked dryer for a noise concern. Upon arrival, started a cycle and initially found no abnormal noise while the dryer was cool. As the unit heated up, the metal cabinet began to flex and vibrate, producing a slight rattling sound. Took a video demonstrating that the noise is coming from the metal cabinet vibrating while the motor and drum are operating. No mechanical failure was found, and the noise does not affect dryer operation. With normal use and repeated heating and cooling, metal cabinet components can slightly warp or flex and produce this type of rattling noise. Verified proper heating and airflow. Other than the normal cabinet vibration, unit checks normal at this time.
