Maytag Washer - Long Fill Error

Repair Summary

Checked washer for an intermittent Long Fill error. Customer stated the washer will display the Long Fill message, stop the cycle, and drain the water. Tested the water valve three times and was unable to duplicate the issue. Customer also stated she could run a Clean cycle successfully, but the error may return the following day. Explained that the water-level pressure sensor is integrated into the main control board, so the intermittent issue could be caused by either the main board not properly calling for water or a failing water inlet valve. Ordered both components and provided the customer with repair options. Returned and replaced the water inlet valve and main control board. Tested operation and verified the washer is filling and operating properly with no errors at this time. Unit checks normal.
