Midea Dishwasher - Error Codes & Blinking Light

Repair Summary
Checked dishwasher for error codes and blinking lights. On the initial visit, customer stated the drain pump was running continuously and water was entering the dishwasher on its own, requiring the water supply to be shut off. Determined the inlet valve required replacement; however, the first replacement received was incorrect and the correct valve was reordered. Returned and installed the new inlet valve. Upon starting the dishwasher, the valve became extremely loud and produced a burning smell. Inspected the control board, valve wiring, and surrounding connections with no visible damage found. The dishwasher would drain but would not fill and would eventually error out. Determined the control board, inlet valve, and valve hose O-ring required replacement. Returned and installed another new inlet valve and control board. During testing, the new valve again became extremely loud, shut off, produced a visible spark, and became excessively hot. Even after allowing the unit to sit, the valve remained above 100°F. Inspected the wiring again and found no visible burned or damaged wires. Multiple new inlet valves have now failed during operation, indicating an unresolved internal electrical issue within the dishwasher that is repeatedly damaging components. Due to the repeated failures and electrical/safety concern, the dishwasher is considered non-repairable at this time. The latest inlet valve and control board were left installed, and defective parts will be returned as applicable. Warranty company will contact the customer regarding further resolution since the unit cannot be safely repaired.
