Repair Summary
Checked dishwasher for a bad odor. Upon inspection, found two contributing issues: the dishwasher filter was dirty and the drain hose was not installed properly. Corrected the drain hose installation and inspected the filter. Ran a full diagnostic cycle and verified all components are operating properly with no errors. Educated the customer on proper maintenance and recommended cleaning the dishwasher filter approximately once a week and running a Clean cycle once a month using dishwasher cleaner or white vinegar to help prevent future odors and buildup. Unit checks normal at this time.
