Repair Summary
Checked dishwasher for no power. Upon arrival, verified proper voltage was reaching the dishwasher terminal; however, found the wire nuts and electrical connections burned due to improper installation, which created a short. Cut the damaged wiring back and properly rewired all connections, including the ground wire, which had not been properly grounded during the original installation. Restored power and tested dishwasher operation. Verified the unit fills, circulates, and drains properly with no error codes or leaks. Answered the customer’s questions regarding the findings and repair. Unit checks normal at this time.
