Samsung Dryer - Cycle Not Starting

Repair Summary
Checked dryer for not starting a cycle. Upon arrival, spun the drum by hand and found no tension, indicating a possible broken belt or failed idler pulley. Disassembled the dryer and found the idler pulley faulty. Samsung has a service bulletin for an updated pulley with a thicker lip designed to prevent the belt from slipping off. Also found the belt rubbing with visible tear marks. Replaced the belt and updated idler pulley together, reassembled the dryer, and tested operation. Verified the drum spins properly and the dryer cycles heat normally. Recommended the customer have the ventilation professionally cleaned, as it has been nearly two years and has never been serviced. Moisture and condensation were present inside the drum and ventilation system. Other than the ventilation concern, unit checks normal at this time.
