Repair Summary

Checked dryer for no heat. Upon arrival, checked the vent static pressure and found readings between 78–80 with the dryer pulled completely away from the wall, indicating a significant ventilation restriction. Made the customer aware of the venting concern. Verified proper voltage at the outlet. Tested dryer operation and confirmed there was no heat being produced. Due to the age of the appliance, advised the customer that a signed waiver would be required before further disassembly, as there is a possibility the unit may not reassemble to its original condition. Customer elected not to proceed with further diagnosis or repair and will purchase a new dryer instead. Prior to beginning service, also pointed out an existing dent on the bottom right corner of the dryer, which the customer acknowledged may have occurred previously. Reassembled the dryer and reconnected it to the electrical supply for the customer.
