Repair Summary
Checked dryer for water accumulating in the vent. Inspected the unit and found the dryer vent airflow restricted. Advised the customer to have the exterior roof vent inspected to verify there is no screen, blockage, or other restriction preventing proper airflow. Diagnostics also showed an HC error code, and inspection found the thermistor had been corroded by moisture. Replaced the thermistor and tested operation. Dryer is operating properly at this time; however, the home venting restriction will need to be corrected to ensure proper airflow and prevent further moisture buildup.
