Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for not cooling properly. Upon inspection, found elevated temperatures in both the fresh food and freezer sections. Verified the compressor and all fans were operating. Connected HASS and ran diagnostics with no stored error codes. Ran the Weak Cooling Test, which failed. Inspected the sealed system and found a refrigerant leak at the Lokring connection near the condenser (see pictures). Replaced the filter drier and faulty Lokring connection and installed an access valve on the compressor. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen for 25 minutes and verified minimal pressure loss with no additional leaks found. Evacuated the system and recharged with 84 grams of R600a refrigerant according to specifications. Ran HASS diagnostics and sent the passed Overall Check results to Samsung. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach proper operating temperatures.
