Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, found the compressor and all fans running, with temperatures around 76°F. Connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, which showed no component failures or error codes. Inspected the compressor area and found traces of oil around the condenser coupler, indicating a refrigerant leak. Determined a sealed-system repair was required and ordered the necessary parts. Returned and installed the ordered parts and completed the sealed-system repair. Pressurized the system to 350 PSI and bubble tested all accessible joints with no leaks found. Isolated the system for 15 minutes and observed only a 0.7 PSI drop, verifying the pressure test passed. Released the nitrogen and evacuated the system to 600 microns. Recharged the refrigerator according to factory specifications, restored power, and verified the compressor and all fans started properly. Set temperatures accordingly and advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be restored. Unit checks normal at this time.
