Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for the upper ice maker not producing ice. Verified freezer temperatures are within the proper range. Cycled the upper ice maker and confirmed it harvested properly; however, the ice was slushy and not completely frozen. Removed the ice maker and found the ice room air route frozen and blocked (see picture). Explained to the customer that this is a common recurring ice room issue and will most likely return even if the ice maker, auger assembly, ice bin, and control board are replaced. Customer also has a lower ice maker, which was found turned off. Explained that the lower ice maker can be turned on and used instead. Refrigerator is cooling properly at this time.
