Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for no ice production and items freezing in the fresh food section. Ran the HASS Weak Cooling and Over Cooling Tests, which failed with temperatures higher than normal. Explained that the elevated temperatures can cause the refrigerator to run for extended periods, potentially contributing to items freezing in the fresh food section. Inspected the compressor area and found a refrigerant leak at the condenser Lokring connection, confirming the need for a sealed-system repair. Returned and completed the sealed-system repair, pressure tested the system, and verified it passed with no additional leaks found. Evacuated the system to a proper vacuum and recharged the refrigerator according to factory specifications. Restored power and verified proper operation. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize and normal ice production to resume. Unit checks normal at this time.
