Samsung Microwave - No Heat

Repair Summary
Checked microwave for no heat. Upon arrival, the microwave needed to be removed from the cabinet for further diagnosis. Before attempting removal, found one of the mounting screws installed sideways and spinning in place, indicating the mounting hardware had been damaged during installation. Obtained a signed damage waiver before touching the unit and advised the customer that safe removal might not be possible. Attempted removal but was unable to safely remove the microwave. Further inspection found physical cabinet/frame damage at the front of the microwave causing the fan to contact the cavity and preventing proper fan operation. This lack of airflow is causing the magnetron to overheat and has resulted in a no-heat condition. Contacted Tech Support and documented the findings. Tech Support initially advised that the physical damage should not affect operation; however, the frame is visibly pushed forward and interfering with the fan. A supervisor will follow up regarding the findings. Customer was advised that the physical/installation damage is not covered and they will need to contact the place of purchase to have the microwave safely removed and the damaged mounting hardware addressed. Once the unit is properly removed and accessible, recommend having the main control board, magnetron, and capacitor available for further diagnosis and repair.
