Repair Summary
Checked range for the small heating ring on the front right burner not working. Upon inspection, found evidence of a previous pest infestation, including dead roaches around the control panel area. Diagnosed the range as requiring replacement of the triple burner and regulator. Advised the customer that the findings would need to be submitted to the warranty company for review before proceeding with repairs. The warranty company requested and reviewed pictures of the appliance. We advised the warranty company that the roaches observed during the inspection were dead; however, after reviewing the documentation, the warranty company determined that the repair is not covered under the terms of the customer’s warranty plan due to evidence of infestation. No repairs performed.
