Repair Summary
Checked range for a cracked cooktop. Replaced the cooktop that was approved by Samsung. During the repair, also found evidence of infestation around the electronic components, which has caused the main control board to short out. Made the customer aware of the findings and explained that Samsung approved coverage for the cracked cooktop only. The infestation-related damage to the main control board is not covered under Samsung warranty.
