Samsung Washer - Abnormal Noise

Repair Summary

Checked washer for making an abnormal noise. Connected HASS and attempted to run diagnostics; however, the test could not be completed because hot water was not entering the washer. Removed the hot water inlet hose and confirmed there was no water coming from the home’s hot water supply. Advised the customer that a plumber will be needed to correct the home water supply issue. Ran the washer through a Drain & Spin cycle and confirmed an abnormal noise coming from the drain pump. Replaced the drain pump and tested the unit. Washer is now operating properly and the abnormal noise has been resolved. Unit checks normal at this time, with the exception of the home’s hot water supply issue.
