Repair Summary
Checked washer for a loud squeaking noise during operation. Customer stated the unit was delivered a few weeks ago. Upon arrival, manually moved the tub assembly and duplicated the screeching noise, which sounded like Styrofoam rubbing against the cabinet. Pulled the washer out, removed the rear cover, and verified the shipping bolts had been removed. Inspected inside the cabinet and found a large Styrofoam packing block underneath the tub assembly that was rubbing as the tub moved and vibrated. Removed the packing material and tested the washer using HASS. Verified no error codes or leaks, all components are communicating and operating properly, and the abnormal noise is no longer present. Unit checks normal at this time.
