Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for no ice production and a broken door switch. Upon inspection, found the refrigerator was detecting the door as open due to a failed door switch. This condition also affects ice production and interior light operation because the door switch is used by the control system to determine door status. Contacted Tech Support and confirmed the door switch is fused into the refrigerator cabinet and cannot be replaced separately. Tech Support determined the unit is non-repairable due to the failed, non-serviceable door switch.
