Whirlpool Fridge - No Ice & Error Codes

Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for no ice production and error codes displaying. Ran diagnostics and found errors related to the humidity sensor and main board communication. Also found the ice maker was not receiving water. Inspected the ice maker fill line and verified it was not frozen. Replaced the ice maker and water valve. Addressed the door-open indication by replacing the reed switch that showed the greatest delay in recognizing the door as closed; however, a delay was still present, which could contribute to the communication error. Ordered the main control board, humidity sensor, and display board. Returned and installed the main control board, display/fascia assemblies, and humidity sensor. Tested operation and verified the refrigerator is now operating properly with no additional issues. Confirmed the ice maker is also producing ice. Unit checks normal at this time.
