Repair Summary
Customer reported that the dishwasher was not operating properly and displaying an error code. Performed a visual inspection and ran HASS diagnostics, retrieving a 3C1 error code indicating a motor-related fault. Verified that the motor assembly was receiving the proper 120V power supply, confirming a defective motor assembly. During the inspection, also discovered a significant amount of roach debris inside the unit, raising concerns about potential contamination and future failures of the electronic components.
Advised the customer of the defective motor assembly and explained that the extensive roach debris could lead to additional electronic failures even if the motor were replaced. The customer's father was present during the inspection and stated that he would discuss the findings with his daughter before deciding whether to proceed with repairs or replace the dishwasher. No repairs were performed at this time.
