Repair Summary

Checked range for a no-power complaint. Customer reported hearing a loud popping noise while cooking, immediately followed by a complete loss of power. Customer checked the circuit breaker and confirmed it had not tripped. Upon inspection, discovered a severely burnt terminal block and associated wire harness. The electrical damage was isolated to the upper wiring connections supplying power to the range, not the wall outlet.


Replaced the damaged terminal block and wire harness, then restored power to the unit. Tested all surface burners and verified proper heating and temperature adjustments from high to low settings. Tested both bake and broil functions and confirmed that both heating elements were operating properly. Reset the clock and performed a final operational check. Unit is functioning normally at this time.
