Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for water leaking from the water filter housing and no ice production. Upon inspection, identified a defective water filter case housing and ice maker, requiring replacement of both components.
Replaced the water filter case housing and ice maker. Tested the unit and verified that the water leak was resolved and the ice maker was producing ice properly. Educated the customer on the proper procedure for replacing the water filter and showed them the location of the water shutoff valve to help prevent potential water damage. Unit tested and is operating normally at this time. Uploaded videos documenting the completed repairs and proper operation.
