Repair Summary
Replaced the cracked glass cooktop assembly as authorized and approved by Samsung. Inspected the replacement cooktop following installation and performed operational testing to verify proper burner functionality. Specifically checked the previously reported concern of the burner remaining on high heat and confirmed that the burner was regulating temperature properly without becoming stuck on the high setting.
Recorded and uploaded a video documenting proper burner operation and confirming that the heating element was cycling as designed. Educated the customer on appropriate cookware selection and advised against using aluminum pans or other cookware not recommended by the manufacturer for the glass cooktop. Reviewed the importance of using compatible cookware to help prevent damage and maintain proper heating performance. Repair completed, and the range checked normal upon final testing.
