Repair Summary

Checked range for customer complaint of an unresponsive cooktop touch control panel. Inspected the unit and followed the applicable manufacturer service bulletin addressing touch control responsiveness. Per the bulletin's recommended repair procedure, determined that the original cooktop assembly required replacement with the updated design incorporating the revised touch control assembly.


Replaced the original cooktop with the updated cooktop and touch control assembly in accordance with the manufacturer service bulletin. Following installation, performed operational testing and verified that the touch controls responded properly and functioned as designed. Connected the range to the customer's Samsung SmartThings application and confirmed successful connectivity and communication. All tested functions passed, and the range is now operating normally.
