Repair Summary
Checked dishwasher for not drying properly and leaking during the drain cycle. Upon inspection, found the water leak is coming from the garbage disposal where the dishwasher drains. The disposal is not part of the dishwasher and is not covered under the dishwasher repair. Tested the dishwasher and verified the heating element is operating properly, drawing approximately 8 amps when activated. Found no rinse aid in the dishwasher reservoir or available under the sink. Recommended using rinse aid to improve drying performance and leaving the dishwasher door slightly open after the cycle is complete to allow moisture to escape and improve drying. No issues found with the dishwasher at this time.
