GE Dryer - No Heat

Repair Summary

Customer complaint was that the dryer was not heating. Performed electrical diagnostics and verified the unit was receiving the required 240 VAC supply. Inspected the heater circuit and tested the thermal cut-off fuse located on the top of the heater assembly; the fuse tested good and was not open. Further inspection revealed that the purple wire supplying the heater had a broken terminal, preventing proper power from reaching the heating element.

Repaired the damaged connection by installing a new terminal on the purple heater wire. Reassembled the connection and tested the dryer through operation. Verified the heating circuit is functioning properly and the dryer is now producing heat and operating normally. Unit checked good at completion.
