Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908

Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator dispenser for dispensing crushed ice when cubed ice was selected. Upon arrival, found the ice bucket frozen underneath with ice buildup affecting the dispensing mechanism. Cleared the ice buildup and tested the dispenser. Initially, cubed ice dispensed properly, but the longer the dispenser was operated, the more crushed ice began to come through. Determined the dispenser bucket and related components required replacement and ordered the necessary parts.

Returned and installed the new dispenser assembly, door motor, auger housing, and ice bucket. Tested the dispenser and verified cubed and crushed ice are now dispensing properly with no issues. Advised the customer to monitor the ice dispensing system and report back if ice buildup returns. Unit checks normal at this time.
