Location: Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Repair Summary

Checked range for a loud popping noise while heating and a reported electrical burning smell. Inspected the heating element and found no damage. Removed the rear cover and inspected the terminal block and wiring. Found no burnt wiring, loose connections, or evidence of an electrical short. Heated the oven to 350°F and verified it reached and maintained the proper temperature. The oven did produce a popping sound during heating; however, this was determined to be normal thermal expansion as the metal heats and expands. No burning smell was present during testing. Unit is working properly at this time.
