GE Range - Storage Drawer Issues

Repair Summary
Checked oven for the customer’s complaint of the lower storage drawer not closing properly and appearing uneven when installed. Upon arrival, found that the drawer was not correctly seated on its tracks. Repositioned the drawer and tested its movement, observing a slight lean toward the left side. GE had supplied a replacement drawer and slide assemblies to address the concern. Inspected the original drawer and found slight movement and unevenness when checking it diagonally from one corner to the opposite corner, indicating that the drawer was not sitting completely level. Proceeded with installation of the manufacturer-supplied replacement drawer and slide assemblies to address the alignment concern.
Following installation, tested the replacement drawer and observed that it continued to exhibit a slight lean toward the left, similar to the original assembly. Noted that the direction of the drawer’s lean corresponded with the slope of the surrounding floor. Attempted multiple adjustments to the drawer tracks and oven positioning to improve alignment; however, these adjustments produced minimal improvement. Carefully repositioned and adjusted the components to achieve the straightest possible alignment under the existing installation conditions. The drawer was left as level and properly aligned as reasonably achievable. The remaining slight leftward lean persisted despite replacement of the drawer and slide assemblies and the adjustments performed. No additional component failure was confirmed during testing.
