Repair Summary
Checked washer for a door that would not open. Upon arrival, found the washer full of water. Connected diagnostics and found an active drain pump error. Manually energized the drain pump and confirmed it was only humming and not pumping water. Inspected and cleaned the drain pump filter, noting the customer had never cleaned it previously; however, the washer still failed to drain after cleaning. Due to the active drain failure and the customer's complaint of poor spin performance, ordered the drain pump, main control board, and inverter board as commonly associated components. Returned and replaced the drain pump, main control board, and inverter board. Tested the washer through multiple fill, drain, and spin cycles and verified the unit drained properly, spun correctly, and operated with no leaks. Advised the customer to check clothing pockets before washing to prevent foreign objects from entering the drain pump and causing future damage. Unit checks normal.
