Repair Summary
Checked washer for not draining. Connected diagnostics and found stored error codes for the door lock and drain pump. Used diagnostics to unlock the door and tested the drain pump, which was not operating or humming. Provided the customer with an estimate for drain pump replacement and initially proceeded with the repair. After replacing the drain pump, found the main control board would also need to be replaced to complete the repair. Customer elected not to proceed with the additional repair and decided to replace the washer instead. Removed the replacement drain pump and charged the customer only the service fee and applicable labor.
