Repair Summary

Checked dryer for a reported broken control knob. Upon inspection, found the timer control knob damaged and the timer shaft rounded off, preventing the knob from properly engaging the timer mechanism and allowing reliable cycle selection. Determined that both the timer assembly and control knob required replacement to restore proper operation.


Replaced the defective timer assembly and control knob. Following installation, tested the timer operation and verified that the knob properly engages the timer shaft and allows cycle selection. Operated the dryer and confirmed proper functionality. Uploaded video documentation showing the dryer operating correctly after the repair. Unit checks normal at this time.
