Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for weak cooling. Upon arrival, inspected both evaporator covers and found no frost or ice buildup. Checked for error codes and none were present. Verified the compressor and fans are running; however, both the fresh food and freezer sections are only cooling to approximately 45–46°F. Based on the diagnostic findings, determined the refrigerator has a sealed-system issue consistent with a low refrigerant charge. Explained the findings and repair options to the customer, who elected to replace the refrigerator at this time. If the customer decides to proceed with the repair, they will contact the office. Sealed-system repair, including installation of a new filter drier, would be required.
