Location: Cape Coral, FL 33904

Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for a water leaking complaint. The customer stated water had previously leaked from underneath the refrigerator but stopped after the unit was powered off and back on. Upon inspection, found the drain tube and drain passage behind the freezer evaporator cover were clear and free of ice or obstructions. Poured water into the drain and verified it flowed properly into the drain pan with no restrictions. The drain pan was holding water normally and no active leaks were found from the refrigerator. Also noted dried rust-colored water stains beneath the standalone freezer next to the refrigerator, indicating it may have leaked previously. Found condensation forming on the refrigerator suction line underneath the unit. This model does not use a condenser fan, and because it is located in a garage, the condensation is consistent with the operating environment. Verified the refrigerator is cooling properly. No repairs were required at this time.
