Repair Summary

Checked dishwasher for the customer’s complaint of the detergent dispenser not operating properly. Upon inspection, found that the detergent dispenser assembly was missing its spring-loaded door mechanism, preventing the dispenser from functioning as designed. Determined that the detergent dispenser assembly was defective and required replacement to restore proper detergent release during the wash cycle.


Replaced the defective detergent dispenser assembly and verified that the dispenser door properly latches when closed and automatically releases when activated. Performed a complete diagnostic test using Samsung HASS and confirmed that the detergent dispenser operated correctly. All diagnostic tests passed successfully with no error codes or additional malfunctions detected throughout the testing process. Unit checks normal at this time.
