Repair Summary
Checked dryer for an HC error code appearing immediately when the dryer was started. Tested the unit and verified the error occurred consistently. Performed diagnostics and found the blower housing thermistor had failed. Provided the customer with a repair estimate, which was approved. Replaced the blower housing thermistor and tested the dryer through multiple cycles. Verified the HC error code was no longer present and confirmed the dryer was heating and operating properly. Advised the customer to have the entire dryer vent professionally cleaned from the dryer to the roof termination to ensure proper airflow and help prevent future heating-related issues. Unit checks normal.
