Repair Summary
Checked dryer for HC error code. Upon arrival, found moisture inside the dryer and the blower thermistor wet and heavily rusted, causing the HC error code. Replaced the blower thermistor and tested the dryer with the vent hose disconnected. Ran a heat cycle and verified the dryer is heating and operating properly. Advised the customer to have the dryer vent system professionally inspected and cleaned to address the humidity and moisture issue and help prevent the condition from recurring. Unit checks normal at this time.
