Repair Summary
Checked dryer for no heat. Upon arrival, verified the unit was receiving proper voltage. The drum was spinning, but the dryer was not producing heat. Disassembled the dryer and found one of the heating elements reading open (OL) and the high-limit fuse open. Replaced the heater assembly and vacuumed lint and debris from inside the dryer cabinet. Reassembled and tested the unit, verifying the drum spins and the dryer cycles heat properly. Airflow appears to be restricted, as the temperature is not dropping at a proper rate, which may have contributed to the dryer overheating and the heater failure. Advised the customer to have the dryer vent professionally cleaned before using the unit. Other than the ventilation concern, the dryer checks normal.
