Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon inspection, found the freezer evaporator fan ramping up and down. Replaced the freezer evaporator cover assembly and ran the HASS Weak Cooling Test, which failed. Based on the applicable service pointer regarding potential Lokring leaks, inspected the compressor area and found a refrigerant leak at the condenser Lokring connection. Completed the sealed-system repair by replacing the leaking Lokring connection and filter drier. Pressurized the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and verified it held pressure for over 15 minutes. Evacuated the system to a deep vacuum and recharged the refrigerator with the factory-specified refrigerant charge. Ran diagnostics and verified proper operation with no error codes or additional issues. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach normal operating temperatures.
