Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RS27T5200SR/AA
Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33917
Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for freezer not cooling properly. Upon arrival, connected HASS and ran the Weak Cooling Test, which showed abnormal temperatures in both the fresh food and freezer sections. Verified the compressor and all fans were operating. Inspected the sealed system and found oil residue at the high-side coupler, indicating a refrigerant leak. Replaced the high-side coupler, filter drier, and service port. Allowed the system to stabilize for approximately 10 minutes, then pressurized it to 350 PSI with nitrogen. Bubble checked all accessible Lokring connections and found no visible leaks. After approximately 20 minutes, the system had lost approximately 5.4 PSI. At that time, the freezer temperature was 20°F and the fresh food section was 46°F. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and recharged with 84 grams of R600a according to specification. Restored operation and cycled the ice maker, verifying proper operation. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24–48 hours for the refrigerator to regulate temperatures and resume normal cooling. Unit checks normal at this time.
