Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for an intermittent no-cooling complaint. Upon arrival, retrieved an active 21C error code indicating a freezer evaporator fan fault. Temperatures were near 30°F at the time of inspection. Inspected the evaporator coil and observed a proper frost pattern developing. Determined that the evaporator cover assembly required replacement to correct the freezer fan issue.


Replaced the evaporator cover assembly and performed a HASS diagnostic report and weak cooling test, both of which passed. Cycled the ice maker and verified proper operation, including the water fill function, with no leaks detected. Adjusted temperature settings accordingly and advised the customer to monitor the refrigerator for 24 hours to confirm proper cooling performance. Unit is operating normally at this time.
