Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for customer complaint of both ice makers not producing ice. Upon arrival, measured the freezer compartment temperature at approximately 6°F, which is within an acceptable range for ice production. Connected Samsung HASS diagnostic software and performed the Weak Cooling Test, which passed without any errors or abnormalities. Further inspection revealed that both ice makers were failing to initiate their automatic harvest cycles, preventing normal ice production. Determined that both ice maker assemblies required replacement.


Replaced both ice maker assemblies and performed an overall HASS diagnostic test, which passed without any issues. Manually cycled both ice makers and verified that each successfully completed its harvest cycle and filled with water as designed. Also checked the refrigerator's display settings to confirm that both ice makers were enabled and properly configured for operation. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for ice production to resume following the repairs. Both ice makers are functioning properly during testing, and the unit checks normal at this time.
